Hi! I'm Dia; I'm the primary contact for Crochet for the Bay and as of now hold the office of president. I'm thrilled to see the idea I had as a 7th grader transform into a reality. My aspiration is to go to Cornell University and dual major in environmental engineering and political sciences. Oddly enough, I'm a major history buff and if there is an event related to history, I'm there! When I'm not working on historical or environmental subjects, I'm either playing violin or drums for the HHS marching band, the Marching Hurricanes. During the winter and spring seasons I'm doing shot-put and discus for the HHS track team. As you can tell, I keep myself busy, but I always try to have time to spend with my friends, family, three cats, and two goats!

My name is Kaylee, and I am the social media manager for Crochet for the Bay. Recently I have moved to Virginia, so I am thrilled that I can still participate in Crochet for the Bay even though I am unable to attend our events and meetings. In the past I have created websites on native american rights for History Fair, so I'm glad that I can apply my experience to help this organization. I'm a sophomore at OLHS, and I hope to have a career in natural resources in the future. In my free time I read, run, play the violin, and work on my art.

Elisabeth Ricks is the event coordinator and vice president for our organization. When she isn't busy sewing costumes for theater, she's sewing stuffed animals for Crochet for the Bay. Since 2013, Elisabeth has been a dedicated member to Crochet for the Bay. She doesn't mind giving up her stuffed animals as long as they go to a good home.

Hello, my name is Kanesha and I'm one of the crafters for Crochet for the Bay. I enjoy crocheting and it has been my past time since 8th grade. I'm so excited to see that I can put one of my favorite hobbies to good use. Since the club has started up I have had many opportunities learning new things, meeting new people, and having a fun time.

Hi, my name is Amanda. I am the treasurer for Crochet for the Bay. Although I don't crochet, I keep track of the money in the organization. I enjoy singing, playing volleyball, playing guitar, and eating. Besides Crochet for the Bay, I am a member of FBLA and the Humane society. I'm also part of a 4-H club that makes crafts. I'm very involved in my church, Calvary Bible Church, including being a part of a guitar group called "Strings Attached". Crochet for the Bay helps me influence my community and make this world a better place. I hope to be a part of Crochet for the Bay while it is becoming a non-profit organization that'll use crocheting to help improve the Chesapeake bay.

He is widely renowned for his baking skills and a talent with Perler beads. Aside from being immensely cool at all times, Ben also enjoys working with costumes in the theatre department and playing a variety of super cool video games. His witty sense of humor and goofy, creative spirit make him a well-loved member of our team and an overall great friend!

Casey Ottenwalder: While this is Casey's first yer being part of Crochet for the Bay, they are one of the hardest working members I have seen. They have made countless owls among other crocheted goodies. But seriously though, have you seen these owls? They are really cool owls. I really like owls.
